Story title: Big City Dreams, From The adventures of Avali IBhiza

As schools drew to a close and the holiday spirit filled the air . What to do , for the next couple of weeks, was everyone’s dilemma . Being a city kid born and breed . I was anticipating luxury and leisure by the pool ,in some expensive five star spa and resort . Oh I’m Avali IBhiza a weirder than average child, extremely energetic and resilient . To say the least a bit misunderstood. “Avali guess what,”mother said with the largest of grins and enthusiasm. “Your grandparents have bought you a ticket to the country for the holidays!”. Upon realization and actualization of the fact it hit me ,I was going to the country side . Let me tell you something about my grandparents, they are strict old people with old people smells and a lot of money . Like any person with money what they say goes and my parents, being broke and not having an idea of what I was going to do for the holidays this opportunity was like winning free tickets to Hawaii.I felt my heart plunge into my chest and drown in boredom . No use crying over spilled milk someone wise once said . All happy and joyful on the outside and dreadful on the inside I boarded the bus to the country. A nice bus ride is what I anticipated, a vlog and seeing the landscape morph into grass land and cow dung. Little did I know I was in for a crowded bus ,smells and intrusive passengers it was the same content my nightmares are made of . Wait I have spent all this time going on about the journey to the country instead of the soul of the story . Ok fast forward past arrivals, dinner and cute farm hand to a week later . Bored and out of my mind, I had been couped up in that old 80’s mansion where everything smelled of dust . Initially it was ok , I mean I played pretend, did ghost investigations and took selfies everywhere. With no companionship or entertainment left to ponder, I sneaked out and followed the road as it went ,with no proper path I ended up in town, unaware of where I was or where home was I saw a talent show poster and it’s like all my problems muted and swept away. TALENT SHOW TONIGHT× COME ALL AND PERFORM . Upon seeing these words the country side wasn’t as bad . I had always considered myself a star ,only the world was left to acknowledge the fact. Having tried and failed in the city maybe the country side would be better ,I mean everything is better that side ,even the air ,but not necessarily the network and wifi . Before I knew it the sun was setting and I had spent hours day dreaming about performing. I might as well perform and after I win I’ll use the money to get back home,I mean catch a taxi just like in the city . Anxious and nervous I got on stage and sang my lungs out and exposed my inner songbird. Leaving the masses dazzled I got off stage and mingled with the country folk. After a long and glacial moving pace the show had ended and it was time to announce the winner. Pumping at a hundred kilometers per hour my heart was near explosion when I heard the words Avali Ibhie you have won ! Excited and surprised I ran on stage collecting my price money and trophy . So Avali where do you live? Those shear words brought me back to reality and the fact that I was far from home. Sorry I have to go,like Cinderella at midnight I ran into the night unaware of where I was headed. A little dim light flickered in the distance.Oh someone to ask as I was about to shout . I felt a strong hand grab me into the nearby brush . With my mouth closed and body firm against his chest ,a Demi God in Orange overalls whispered shh softly in my ear . Rather scared but aroused I gave into his demands ,the little light was a torch perched on a police motorcycle. As it swept by he let me go . Where are you going he asked firmly and manly . “Ho ho home” scared and confused I answered, but I’m a bit lost do you know where Danny Dow’s farm is I asked . Let me direct you he said or rather accompany you,for it is rather late and we don’t want you to get abducted . Already done I said as we walked home . After conversing I discovered Denzel was a convict on the run and had nowhere to go . Being kind and naive I invited him home . Thank the heavens my grandparents had not been back and like clockwork they called and informed me that they had travelled to the next town for a month meaning I was going to spend the holidays alone . With Denzel off course but that they knew not . After running my guest a hot bath and giving him a hot meal we continued to converse deep into the night , feeling sleepy I headed for bed . To my surprise a warm figure was already in my sheets with a loud scream I jumped up headed for the light switch and a baseball bat . Oink oink it went a little piglet with the cutest of eyes oh did I scare you little guys as I picked him up and cradled him like a baby ,just as I was calming down swing bang the door was forcefully opened and before it stood the true definition of fitness . Chiseled abs and a well defined six pack accompanied with a V-line that left little to the imagination. I heard a scream is everything alright Denzel asked . In all and probably salivating over his physic I just nodded. As he snatched the piglet from my hands and cradle it I wished I was reborn a pig . This little one is perfect, promise me you won’t kill him . Kind and loves a animals I mean kill me now ,why would they lock him up . Ok sleep tight, see you in the morning,as he closed the door and left with his perfect crown Jewels .I fell asleep with my little pig by my side . A loud ring awakened me signalling morning and a new day . Where is the darn alarm trying to switch it off I realized it was my phone. ” Hello ,is this Avali Ibhie,” yes I answered and what they said next shock me and woke me up instantly. “We would like to interview you and record a song with you, your performance last night was Stella , don’t worry we have sent you a hundred dollars to cover your transport, see you at 12 .”
